Membership in the American Nail Artists Association (ANAA) is a mark of professional distinction.

Each level reflects your experience, achievements, and contribution to the industry, while providing access to exclusive opportunities, recognition, and professional development.
ANAA Candidate (Pre-Membership Level)
Designed for emerging professionals who are at the beginning of their journey in the nail industry and are working toward meeting the standards required for full ANAA membership.
This level is ideal for artists who are actively developing their skills, building experience, and planning to grow into recognized professionals within the industry.
Requirements:
• completion of the online application form
• submission for initial review by ANAA
After Approval:
• a personalized next-step plan for professional growth within ANAA
• a complete overview of available programs, events, and opportunities for the upcoming year
• guidance on how to qualify for full ANAA membership
Benefits:
•access to ANAA educational programs at a reduced cost
• participation in events, competitions, and industry activities
• access to partner benefits (discounts, product testing, collaborations)
• opportunity to engage with ANAA standards and educators
Limitations:
• not an official ANAA member
• no right to represent themselves as an ANAA member
• not listed in the official member directory

PROFESSIONAL MEMBER
Official ANAA member with verified experience, achievements, and professional recognition.
This level is designed for specialists who meet ANAA standards and are ready to represent themselves as part of the professional community.

• completed application and full profile submission
• portfolio review (photos of work)
• verification of experience, achievements, or industry involvement
• compliance with ANAA standards and professional criteria
After Approval:
• assignment of official ANAA membership status
• creation of a personal profile on the ANAA website
• inclusion in the official ANAA member directory
• issuance of official ANAA documents and recommendation letters
• issuance of an official ANAA certificate (custom-designed, individually produced)
Benefits:
• official recognition as an ANAA member
• personal profile on the ANAA platform
• priority access to ANAA events, collaborations, and industry opportunities
• participation in:
– industry events and private ANAA gatherings
– professional forums and conferences
– online training programs, workshops, and live sessions

• demonstration of student results (before/after work examples)
• strong professional portfolio and verified industry experience
